I LOVE this. And this post was perfectly timed for me; I didn't deactivate mine, but I did log out of it everywhere just a little while ago. I'm feeling good about the decision. Thank you for helping to give me the final little boost I needed to make a leap I've been putting off for way too long!
I’ve been seeing quite a few posts since Sadie left where others announced they’ll be leaving. So it goes. Personally, I just switched mine to private and will use it to talk with my circle of friends (present company included). The drama is getting exhausting, and I’m not even personally involved.
I left Twitter earlier this year, and also recently left Facebook (https://karldrinkwater.substack.com/p/hello-world). Now Substack is my only avenue. That's what I call going all-in. :-) But I really like it here. Unlike Facebook and Twitter where reach is limited if you don't pay-to-play, here everyone shares each other's work! Awsome. :-)

Seriously contemplated doing the same this week after all that went on. It's doing more harm than good.

I agree, Mark. I steer clear of all the drama, but it's still hard to take the misery.

I came here to see if you were ripping apart the movie X, which I really liked. Glad this wasn’t that.
